Martin Lacey

Martin Lacey
Qualifications
Martin is a fellow of the Irish Institute of Chartered Accountants (1991). He is also a fully qualified member of the Irish Taxation Institute (1992).

Background

Martin has over 20 years experience of all Irish taxes including corporate, employee and transactions taxes. His primary focus, apart from having overall responsibility for the tax affairs of the firm's client base, is on advising foreign companies about the advantages (particularly tax advantages) of Ireland for inward investment.

Prior to establishing Lacey Consulting, Martin was National Lead Tax Partner with RSM Robson Rhodes LLP, a top 15 firm based in Dublin. Martin began his career with Price Waterhouse, where he trained and subsequently worked as a Senior Tax Advisor.

In 1995 he joined a local Irish firm, Gorman AGN and was admitted to the partnership of that firm in 1997. Gorman AGN merged with RSM Robson Rhodes in May 2004, upon which, Martin was appointed to lead the combined firm's tax practice in Dublin. Martin occasionally contributes articles to Irish press media and international business publications. 


Bryan Geary

Bryan Geary
Qualifications

Bryan is a fully qualified member of the Irish Taxation Institute (2005) and holds an honours degree in Business Studies from University College Cork.

Background

Bryan is primarily responsible for managing the tax affairs of Lacey Consulting's corporate clients and assists in providing tax and general commercial advice to these clients and to our international contacts.

Bryan has a particular expertise in advising international construction contractors in relation to Irish tax and addressing VAT issues.

Bryan previously worked as a tax consultant with RSM Robson Rhodes LLP and prior to that, with a number of medium sized accounting firms. He has over 12 years experience in all aspects of Irish taxation.


Diarnuid Farrell

Diarmuid Farrell
Qualifications

Diarmuid is a fully qualified member of the Irish Taxation Institute (2009). He holds an honours degree in Management and Marketing from DIT.

Background

Diarmuid has responsibility for managing the tax affairs of the firm's private client base as well as being closely involved in assisting with the tax and commercial affairs of our corporate clients. He has over 7 years experience in dealing with Irish tax on behalf of clients.

Prior to joining Lacey Consulting, Diarmuid worked with RSM Robson Rhodes LLP. He had previously worked in banking and this experience is of assistance to many of our international clients in relation to their cross border financial requirements.
